The new “MY HOTEL” business hotel in Olching, located just outside Munich and designed by architect Reinhard Maier Trommeter, was initiated in 2014 and encompasses a total volume of 8,000 m³. The building is conceived as a mixed‑structure development featuring reinforced‑concrete foundations and load‑bearing elements, for which HB provided the structural design.

High-Performance Hospitality in a Compact Urban Format
A compact, high-performance hotel designed to meet the comfort and mobility needs of Munich’s metropolitan context.
The complex is arranged over a ground floor and three above‑ground levels (1st, 2nd and 3rd floors), reaching a total surface area of approximately 3,000 m². The spaces were designed to meet the needs of a modern business hotel, with particular attention to functional layout, structural robustness and the integration of the various construction technologies that characterise its mixed structural system.
The result is an efficient and contemporary building designed to offer a high level of comfort to its guests, fitting harmoniously into the urban context of Olching and contributing to the expansion of hospitality services within the Munich metropolitan area.
