The project developed for Technoalpin S.p.A., a leading company in the production of artificial snowmaking systems, began in 2008 and is defined by a total volume of 140.000 m3, distributed within a building rising to 20 meters in height. Designed by architects Roland Baldi and Johannes Niederstätter, the intervention features an architectural language that translates the company’s identity and its strong connection to the mountain environment into built form.
The concept establishes a symbolic link with snow, the core element of Technoalpin’s production mission. This relationship is expressed through the building’s clean, sharply defined volumes and its milky white façades, which evoke the purity, brightness, and essential geometry of the winter landscape. The result is an industrial building that goes beyond mere logistical function, adopting a distinctive architectural character deeply rooted in the Alpine imagination.
