The Piazza Navigatori project, launched in 2022 with a total investment of €50,000,000, stems from the ambition to deeply merge the character of the site with the built environment, shaping an iconic piece of architecture with a strong sense of identity. The building draws inspiration from the trunks of the Italian stone pine: solid, ribbed volumes—structured yet not twisted—rising from a massive podium designed to ensure a firmly grounded base. Between the “scales” of these architectural trunks, lush vegetation interweaves itself into the composition, gradually colonising the structure and integrating it into a wider urban ecosystem.

FO.RO Living - Roman Forest, The urban jungle experience
Roman Forest – A contemporary icon where greenery becomes an integral part of both the building and the city.
At the top of the buildings, large evergreen trees extend their canopies into the wind, offering protection to the panoramic terrace spaces while mitigating the effects of extreme weather conditions. Botanical species are selected for their adaptability and resilience, with a predominance of evergreens to ensure a consistently vibrant and attractive green presence throughout the year.
The entire development is conceived as a continuous dialogue between architecture and nature, where the building’s morphology, the selection of plant species and the quality of the open air spaces work together to define a contemporary urban landmark—recognisable, distinctive and yet deeply rooted in the local landscape.
