A home suspended between light and landscape, resting on ultra slender post tensioned concrete slabs

Haus 22, whose construction began in 2014, stands on a north west facing hillside in the hamlet of Morter and is defined by an architectural approach that is both essential and deeply connected to the landscape. The single storey building, elevated on slender concrete slabs, appears to float above the terrain, creating a sense of lightness and suspension.

The semi basement, partially embedded in the slope, is visible only through carefully placed openings that reveal its presence without altering the overall perception of the volume. Between the thin, wide cantilevered slabs made of exposed white concrete, the architect inserted a full height glazed cube, which opens onto large terraces that extend the living space outward.

The material palette is intentionally restrained, exposed white concrete, glass, and wood, emphasizing the purity and modern simplicity of the building while reinforcing its dialogue with the natural surroundings.
