Born from experience in structural and geotechnical design, since its foundation in 1994 HB has distinguished itself through a pragmatic vision, methodological rigor and the adoption of Value Engineering. These principles have enabled the company to grow within the Italian and international engineering landscape, taking on increasingly diverse and complex design challenges.
2000
Relocation to Lana
Eng. Oswald Holzner relocated the firm’s headquarters to Via Bolzano 15 11, Lana, South Tyrol.
2002
Eng. Bertagnolli joins the team
Eng. Claudio Bertagnolli joined the firm as a collaborator.
2006
City Tower, Bolzano
The firm took part in the design of City Tower in Bolzano, at the time the tallest building in South Tyrol.
2010
Holzner & Bertagnolli Engineering Srl incorporated
Holzner & Bertagnolli Engineering S.r.l was established, with Eng. Oswald Holzner and Eng. Claudio Bertagnolli as Managing Partners; the Lana office doubled in size.
2011
New office in Milan
The Milan office was opened, and the company was appointed to carry out the structural design of CityLife and the new Monte Bianco cable car.
2015
New office in Munich
A new office opened in Munich.
2018
Renovation of the Lana office
Ground was broken for the new HB Engineering headquarters in Lana, South Tyrol.
2020
Headquarters completed in Lana, South Tyrol
Completion of the new HB Engineering headquarters at Via del Sole 16, Lana, South Tyrol, marked a new chapter for the company.
2025
Acquisition of Göppert-hb GmbH
